The Fund is managed by two distinct bodies: the three-member Executive Board and the nine-member General Council.<\/p>\n<p><br \/>The Fund is seeking to appoint its Chief Executive Officer (\u201cCEO\u201d) to fill a vacant position. The Selection Panel shall select and propose a short list of candidates to the Minister of Finance who will appoint the Chief Executive Officer.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Announcement<\/strong><br \/>The purpose of this call for expression of interest is to attract candidates with the<br \/>appropriate profile. The appointment will take place according to the provisions of art. 4,<br \/>par. 5 of L. 3864\/2010. The term of the appointment is renewable and cannot exceed the<br \/>30th June 2020.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Requirements \/ Qualifications:<\/strong><br \/>Candidates should meet the following criteria and conditions:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Education:<\/strong> University degree, ideally in Finance, Management or Economics.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Languages:<\/strong> Excellent command of English language, fluent Greek will be considered as a very valuable asset.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Field of Expertise:<\/strong> The CEO shall be selected among persons possessing several years of professional experience with a proven record of achievement in the financial sector, broad vision of business issues, successful track record working as a CEO or C-Suite executive at a relevant financial company or institution. Exposure and experience in an international environment and exposure to audit, legal and regulatory matters will be considered advantages.<\/li>\n<li>Candidates must also possess a history of making good business decisions and being<br \/>exposed to best practices; have track record and involvement in a multi-faceted, highly<br \/>complex and high pressure situations; have experience in complex business situations,<br \/>involving corporate restructuring and management realignment, as well as experience<br \/>dealing with the issues and concerns of investors. Strong managerial skills, high-level<br \/>negotiation skills and unquestionable business ethics are required.<\/li>\n<li>Proved independence from institutions, systemic banks, government and bank<br \/>borrowers is a pre-requisite. Prior experience with an organization that is known for its impeccable ethics and integrity, above-average success record and a culture that has<br \/>attracted, energized and retained top talent will be considered a valuable asset.<\/li>\n<li>The CEO will be appointed subject to the absence of any personal or legal conflicts and restrictions, as described in the articles 4 and 16b of Law 3864\/2010.
