Who we are

Dr. Angelos Dimopoulos is a Senior Lecturer in Law and the LLM Director at QueenMary University of London, where he has been employed since 2013. Dr. Dimopoulos is also a visiting Professor at the Free University of Berlin and the International Hellenic University and he regularly acts as expert consultant in his areas of expertise.

His area of expertise is in EU and international economic law. His research focuses on EU external relations law, EU trade law, the law of the EU Economic and Monetary Union and international investment law and he has published extensively in these fields, including his monograph on EU Foreign Investment Law (OUP, 2011).

Dr. Dimopoulos obtained his PhD in Law from the European University Institute in 2010. He is a graduate of the Law School of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, and holds postgraduate degrees from the Universities of Cambridge (LLM) and Hannover (MLE). He is also a qualified attorney-at-law in Greece.
